Vision Norfolk Viewfinders

From fungi to fighter planes, landscapes to landmarks and tarantulas to chimney pots, nothing escapes the lenses of this group of photographers. Based at the Bradbury centre in Norwich, members take their smartphones, reflex cameras, point and shoots and anything else that will take a digital picture and travel throughout Norfolk. Off they go in the minibus all year round on photoshoot trips. A smile on their face and the anticipation of getting “that shot”. Indeed, some have recently featured in an amateur photographer magazine article.

This, however, is no ordinary photography club !

Why?

Well, every member of this group is sight impaired !

So, out they get from the minibus; guide dog, white canes and cameras, often much to the surprise (and amusement) of any onlookers.

This display is a small sample of their work which they would like to share and maybe inspire others to “have a go”. After all, ability is not always obvious.

So, whether you see to take photographs or take photographs to see, you would be very welcome to join us.

Say “cheesecake”?

Well, taking photographs is okay – but, really, it’s all about lunch !
