Summer Sun

A celebration of the season that dazzles and scorches in equal measure. Here you’ll find full-bloom flowers turning their faces to the sky, beaches that sparkle under blue haze, and evenings that stretch into gold. I wait for summer all year and I love it – early mornings when the insects begin to stir as the day dawns, bees in the buddleia, sun-warmed shoulders, dogs dozing in the shade – and yet, when the heat clings too long, I find myself quietly craving cooler winds, the turn of leaves to orange, and even the chill of winter. These are the sun-soaked moments I try to catch before they slip away.
