Photograph of a swan was snapped with an iPhone, whilst the bird was preening on the River Wensum. She has her head tucked under a wing with her eyes just showing through the white feathers. One of her large black feet are held in the air above the water. There is a red identification band on her leg. The water is clear and light blue in colour. A reflection of the swan’s body makes an interesting jagged black shape on the surface.
It’s Above You

Photograph of a different perspective – looking up at a twisted cypress tree in Bressingham Gardens. A black and white image taken through the lens of an iPhone.
We gaze up into the sky at the curling close packed foliage stretching away into the distance. Candy floss white clouds high above contrast with the dark of the tree, as if trying to lighten the view.
Seeing Double

Photograph of St Peter Mancroft church reflected in the facade of Norwich Millennium Library, taken with an iPhone.
A fascinating contrast between the rounded steel and glass library facade and the dark ancient structure of the church.
Sentinels

Photograph of a row of chimney pots on Casa Mila, Barcelona, taken with an iPhone. A series of upright chimney pots – curiously shaped, each having a helmet like cowl making them look like some kind of being from outer space.
