Love them or hate them, fear them or find them just a bit creepy crawly … we cannot deny that insects are the life blood of the world. Without them our planet would be an ecological wasteland. Here are my love letters to our insect friends. I am especially fond of bees, even earning the nickname “Bee Botherer” from my husband, who has lost me for many an hour in the garden amongst the wildflowers.
