Tattered Autumn Lace

These tall seed crowns stand together like a small choir in the hazy early autumn sunshine, soft clouds of their out of focus siblings obscuring their stark stems and transforming them gently. Everything around them is soft and dreamy, as if the air itself has turned to cream. The palette is pale gold and warm yellow with hints of green, and circles of light drift in the distance. A gentle pause at the end of the season when Mother Nature exhales and the last warmth lingers on the stems.
