Glass Fly

A dreamy pastel coloured overhead shot of the most amazing glass like hover fly on a pinky lilac thistle type flower. The little insect has a banded yellow, black and white striped body. Their wings are so delicate and nearly transparent – all save the strong black veins in them. Their large orange compound eyes observe the world. We probably look as strange to them as they do to us.
