“Hi !”

A ayellow lab photobombing the image, with a black dog and pale yellow dog running behind.

Often I will try to take group shots of our dogs in a park, or some other area where they are free running.
When I had both Stella and Biggie, and husband had Jackson, it was very common for a photo to completely fail – for them all to be not looking in the same direction at the least, and at the most all running towards me, or away from me, or a combination of both. The second I squatted down, if they’d been in the perfect sit-stay before they were (and are) guaranteed to come rushing to knock me over and lick me to death.
As a result I’ve got lots of shots like this – a scrubby dry grassland in the background and a big happy sandy Jackson face near to the camera, Stella rushing towards me with her tongue hanging out of her sleek black chops, and Big lagging behind looking a bit gormless, like a big yellow daisy.
